The translations were part of a large project that included a range of initiatives and services for promoting the cultural heritage and identity of Sardinia, including photography, documentaries, brochures and print publications.
On behalf of Ilisso publishers, we performed translation of texts used to create guides, brochures and printed works illustrating aspects of the history, culture, architecture and natural environment of the whole of Sardinia. The project involved translation of a total of 8,300 standard pages of material from Italian to English, French and German.
As part of the same project we managed the texts used for creating audio guides and multimedia and Internet points at 170 cultural sites. We translated descriptive sheets on archaeological heritage and finds and monuments, which were then used as part of 3D representations and virtual tours.
